Nested Graphic Symbol Animation works in scrub, not when published

Hello,

I'm fairly new to Animate so sorry if this is an onbious mistake.

I have a nested graphic symbol which is a small animation, placed on a scene timeline. The animation plays on scrub, but not when published. Can anyone help me with this issue? I have other animated elements which are tweened on the main timeline, they work with both scrub and publish.

To add to what kglad said:

 

Is your document type AS3 or Canvas?

If it is Canvas/html5 and you have applied a color effect to that graphic symbol in a Canvas file, it will only display the first frame when published. 

 

Check Output for errors after you publish.

you need as many frames in the parent timeline (after the keyframe where the graphic is added) as there are in the graphic timeline.  eg, if you graphic is 10 frames long and you add it to the last frame of the main timeline, you'll see no graphic animation.  to see the complete animation you need to extend the main timeline by 10 frames beyond keyframe where the  graphic symbol is added.
