No Audio in Adobe Animate

For the past week, I have been having issues when it comes to animating with no audio. I have made sure that the audio was the correct type, it is unmuted, as well as making sure that the sync is stream instead of event. However, I have no idea why I still don't have audio in the timeline section, and I can only hear the audio through the SFW movie. I really need help with this because I make videos for myself as well as my college.

your sound is in a layer with one keyframe, correct?

if yes, when you click that keyframe the properties panel shows the sync property is stream, correct?

if yes and yes, when tou play or scrub your timeline with the sound you hear nothing, correct?

however, when you test, you hear the sound, all correct?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
