Opacity isnt working

When i use a bruh that has lowered opacity, and i draw on a shape, the brush automaticly turns to 100 percent opacity and I dont know why. but if I use object drawing mode it works and iI dont like object drawing mode.

Hello,

Drawing a stroke with different opacity over a shape on the same layer will flatten out the new stroke on the existing shape. You can either switch to drawing object mode or draw on a new layer on top of the existing shape.
