open ppt/pdf/xls file in appropriate software

Hi ihave linked 5 files 2 are pdf files, one ms excel file 2 are powerpoint files icons in my presentation.

now what I want if user clicks on icon then it will not open in browser it will open it it's appropriate software.

now i m using code

navigatetoURL(new urlrequest(filepath)) but it opens in browser, but i want when user click on icon then it will open in appropriate software.
