origin point reverting

I am using version 2023 i have created a line using the line tool and have changed the origin point using the transform tool but animate automatically switches the origin point back to where it was. the line is not a symbol.

Help is needed.

Hi.

That's not the origin. It's the transformation point. And the transformation point is not retained in raw shapes after they are deselected, only in objects like symbols, groups, components, and drawing objects.

i want to change the point from where the object is rotated (center as default) and I don't want to convert it to symbol
