parent dynamically

I've created 2 instances using attachMovie.
can I dynamically make one the parent of the other, so they will move together, than seperate them again?

No, that's not possible. If you want to move those 2 MCs together, save the difference in the locations and change the position of one of the MCs by code, taking the position of the other MC and adding the difference.
