pencil tool stroke issue

when i make a stroke with the pencil tool, (because i prefer straight width lines)
it does this weird folding thing as in the picture

You can also turn off pressure sensitivity for the normal brush or fluid brush if maintaining width is the only issue.

check (and adust) your pencil mode (in the tools panel after selecting the pencil) and check (and adjust) your pencil stroke style (in the properties panel)
