When my movie loops back to first frame I want one of my movie symbols to start on another frame in it's timeline and continue as entire movie loops?

does the movieclip your trying to change exist on every frame of your main timeline?

once the movie reaches end it loops back to first frame on every MC instance. The one MC instance I've been trying to change, doesn't go to frame 10 with this AS.

put that code on the first frame of the movieclip that you want skip its first 9 frames.

it didn't work. When the movie plays it just loops entire movie. All movie clips repeat from first frame. How do I just get this one to go straight to frame 10 while others loop from 1?

yes, I think so. Basically, there are multiple seperate movie clips playing in the main timeline. When the last frame is reached and the entire movie will repeat, except one of these movie clips will play on it's 10th frame and not it's first and continue. While the other movie clips will always loop back to their first frame. Make sense??

on the first frame of any movieclip that you want to skip its first 9 frames every time it plays, except the first, you can use:

you mean there's a child movieclip on your main timeline's frame 1 and when that frame plays after the first time, you want your child movieclip to start on a frame other than its 1st frame?
