Please help, How can I colour fill in Adobe Animate?

Sorry my English is bad but I'm having problems of colouring in Adobe Animate like whenever I use the fill bucket tool to colour in. It just won't. I tried clicking onto the layer that I drew to colour in but it simply didn't work.

Is there a method to fix this or maybe I did something wrong.
