can anybody tell me what's up with this? ths is not what png looks like after i export it the background on my exported image is white it's supose to be clear

Legend

In the PNG Settings dialog that pops up, choose 32 bit (not 8).

32 bit PNG is 24 bits (RGB) + 8 bits for the Alpha channel (transparency information).
