no, preferences not found on given paths. did full computer system search and no show. it's like they don't exist.


Can you try doing a clean uninstall using Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems and then try reinstalling?

you should be checking:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/<flash version>/ and

/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Animate/<version>/)

Have you tried opening Animate while holding down Command + Option + Shift? That will reset the preferences.
