problem importing ai file

Hello,
I am working with the latest versions of Illustrator and Animate and I am having troubleimporting an ai file into Animate. I fail to have the different symbols on different layers?thank you for your reply

you can import ai layers to animate layers but not different symbols on the same layer. if you're having trouble converting ai layer to animate layers, make sure that option is selected:
