Problems with brush tool after update!

I'm using the classic brush tool to draw and anímate. I’ve never had problema with it, but since the last update the brush doesn't work properly. The line is inconsistent and I have to keep redrawing over each stoke because the line doesn't appear most of the times. I'm devastated as it doest allow me to work at a normal speed. It’s very frustrating. If I could I would go back to the previous version (one week ago) but now I'm stuck with this. I would most grateful if you could please look into this so it can be fixed soon.

By the way, I’m using a brand new mac computer (just about 4 months old, with plenty of capacity and speed) I didn’t have any issue until the last update.

Thanks!

    reset your preferences

    https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/kb/animate-cc-crashes-on-launch-startup.html

    or remove

    Win:

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC <version>\ and

    C\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\<version>\

    Mac:

    /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/<Animate CC version>/ and /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Animate/<version>/)

    Thanks Kglad!

I tried that and it seems to be working now! for some reason that worked!

Thanks again! I trully appreciate it!

Yes, this is an issue. It has happened to me as well. Sometimes whole drawings disappear. Luckily I can just hit control z and it goes back. This seems to be a bug. Go here an submit your issue. https://adobe.allegiancetech.com/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.dll?BPY8J4

you can install all (~20) versions from v21.0 to the current v22.0.8 using your cc desktop app.

in your cc app preferences, enable showing older apps (hamburger menu>file>preferences>apps>show older apps)

then close the preferences and next to your installed animate install button, click dots>other versions:

    Thanks Kglad,

I found that out yesterday after a while. It didn't solve my problem though... so not sure what else I can do.

    Thanks anyway,
