Progressive download flv never plays

Question

Using CS3Hello people, Like the title states my Progressive download never plays. Before I waste your time and mine showing the methods used I rather start off simple.Are there any reasons an flv might not be allowed to stream? I have followed the methods in every Progressive video tutorial I can find (about 7 so far) and they explain the exact same steps yet my flv never plays. I have also done it entirely with just action scripte and nothing. I get the player and my video list but never get the video.Yes, I have the Source set to the web directory of my flv in the parameters in the property inspector.I have also tried to use this method with other types of video and it also never plays. The only thing that works is embedd it which is of course a terrible only choice.Not sure this is the correct place to post this but the other choices I saw look like a worst choice than this one.

Why?Obviously you can see I rather not give it out since the material isn't for anyone here to see. You saw my answer above so don't toss me 3 words and expect it without perhaps a couple courteous words what for. I suppose I could upload something simple to another site and toss a link, but again, why? It would be nice to at least say where you going with this so I know.then test yourself.first, rule out the most common errors by making sure your flv plays when tested locally. then make sure you upload your skin if using an flvplayback component. make sure there are no security sandbox errors. check your html for correct embedding code. and finally, make sure flv mime type is enabled on your server.
