the projects name is jar anime opening.fla and it gives no error code as far as I know

Thanks. It does seem to be corrupt. I tried repair tricks on my Mac but that didn't fix it If you're using Windows you could see if the steps given here work with WinRar:

Ok my brother fixed the issue by actually finding the file in %APPDATA% then finding the adobe animate CC files and the recovery file was there temporarily so I saved it with a new name and it opened fine, backed up. Thanks for the help though everyone.

I tried to do this but I'm not sure if it works, it could be because this is meant for flash users but I think mine is just completely broken as far as I can tell..

If the project isn't too secret, are you able to post the FLA somewhere for us to try opening?

You have posted to the Forum Lounge, a non-tech support hangout for Adobe users.

    Which program are you using?

Knowing that will allow a moderator to move your post to the correct forum so other users of the software can help you.
