Published HTML 5 Canvas does not function in root folder HTML page

I have completed and published an applicationi n HTML 5 Canvas. When I test the movie in Animate, buttons etc. were perfect. When I go to the folder where the work is published and open the HTML page (Google Chrome), nothing works. How is this resolved and if resolved, will the "Canvas" function in other browsers?
