Publishing executable projectors without flash - what now?

I've always exported my interactive animations as flash projectors... I'm looking for some advice on what the alternatives are for publishing self executable animations for OSX and Windows?  What are you all using instead of flash?

Thanks in advance for your help!

It won't stop appearing. Projectors, AIR on desktop, AIR on mobile, animating for video, all use SWF. Pretty sure it's not going away, just because the desktop browser plugin has gone now.

    Export as a video

That would be a good option for something that is not intractive. The video would be able to play back in any browser.

You can still publish as projectors. Those are standalone applications, and the user does not have to have Flash Player installed.

You could also publish as desktop AIR apps, which can give you more access to the user's files and other system features.

    Thanks for the feedback Colin!

I'm wondering longer term since Adobe is saying they won't support flash any longer and AIR is pretty marginal at this point.  I'm expecting that flash will stop appearing in future releases of Animate.  Is there any other way to publish an executable stand alone application from Animate or have you heard of future wrappers/formats that Adobe is planning?

    Thanks!!
