Radial/Linear Gradient Will Not Clear in the Color Panel

I am trying to edit a radial gradient I created in Animate 2020 but it will not let me do anything but edit the current colors and add more points. I tried clearing the swatches panel and that did not work either.

    did you click none (or something else) in the color panel dropdown after selecting your object with the radial gradient?
