Recovery file will not open

Whenever I try to open a recovery file, it says an error occurred.

However, I did delete the original file that it was a recovery of since it was outdated.

Is there any way I can get my file back?

check the recovery file size

if it's not 0 bytes and about expected size, you can

rename the corrupt fla to a rar file

use winrar to repair it

rename the repaired rar to a fla

try to open the repaired fla in animate
