Question

Reload all fonts every time i hit Text tool or double click on Text box

I´m having this problem since last update. Everytime i click on a text box or select text tool it stops and Rainbow circle (Mac loading) start as it was rescaning all the fonts of the system. Then i can write an do whatever.. get out of a Movie Clip and hit Text tool again.... and start reload it again. Its crazy.

Do anyone knows the reason or have this issue?

p.s. uninstall/reinstall won't reset preferences unless you select remove preferences during the uninstall.

Another option would be to uninstall Adobe Animate and reinstall Adobe Animate and make sure you have the latest version 22.0.6.

reset your preferences:

1.assign (if none now exist) a custom keyboard shortcut:

2.reset your preferences* (you should not give up on this until you've tried several times)

3.confirm you were successful by checking your keyboard shortcut was reset

if it's not, return to step 2

if it is reset, check if the problem is resolved

* press and hold Control+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Animate.
