Question

Rigging and animation at the same time?

Hello, new to animate – i did the jellyfish tutorial and would it for example there possible not only to animate /rig the tentacles but at the same time for example the eyes?! I had the problem that i had the eyes in my animation in an other layer and of course they where not rigged/moved with the body – do i have to put these things all in the same layer?

Don't put everything onb the same layer because once you start rigging with the tool it converts everything to an Asset Warp object and can no longer be edited - something that needs to be addressed in a future update. As other person said, keep things like eyes on other layers and use Layer Parenting or nest everything in a symbol.

Hi, you can parent other layers to your rig, they don't have to be on the same layer.

Simply parent the eyes to the body: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjvBtMNJOQk&ab_channel=ThisGuyDoesAnimation
