Scrubbing works, but not testing or saving

I'm very new, so bear with me.

I'm creating a video using action script flash player. When I move the scrub bar, I can see the scene take place perfectly. But when I test, nothing happens. Same thing when I test movie or test scene. When I try to export it, it crashes every time.

I don't know code, but I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance here. When I've made short videos with action script, it tests just fine.
