Seeking Access to Adobe Flash for AS 2.0 SWF Recompiling

Hi Adobe Community,

I have a customer working on a project remastering older games that require a specific version of ActionScript (AS 2.0). Unfortunately, Adobe Animate doesn’t support AS 2.0, so it isn’t a viable option for their workflow.

They understand that ActionScript 2.0 is considered legacy technology, but want to check if there is any way to obtain a legal copy of Adobe Flash so they can safely recompile SWF files for this project.

If anyone has guidance on whether Adobe offers a legitimate path for this, or if there are approved alternatives that maintain AS 2.0 compatibility, I'd greatly appreciate your insight.
