Shift + Drag for straight lines

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I pressed or clicked something and now whenever I Shift and drag with the mouse or with my digital pen, all of my lines are angled at 45 degrees as I draw and erase, when they should be vertical or horizontal. Any tips on how to readjust this would be very much appreciated.
