Single audio file overlaps + can only hear audio if playback starts at the beginning

I imported an mp3 file into the Animate libraries. The audio is around 4 minutes long and 2 minutes in it continues to play but then the start of the song overlaps. When played in the library it sounds 100% fine. Also, I can't hear the song in playback if I click anywhere on the timeline. In order to hear it, I have to start the playback from the very beginning. How do I fix this?

    If it starts to play again then something in your timeline is looping back around to where the audio first started.

    To be able to skip around in audio on the timeline, set its Sync property to Stream.
