Hello,
I have imported some drawings in psd that I would like to animate. I've imported some drawings in psd that I'd like to animate. Unfortunately, despite a successful import from the library with conversion to bitmap, once in the work file, I can't create a skeleton.
Indeed it asks me to transform my shape into a symbol.
Unfortunately I asked to transform the latter into a symbol, nothing changes...  Any idea???

So, you created a layered PSD with each moveable limb on its own layer correct?
    Imported into Animate?
You should now have each layered limb on its own layer in Animate. Select each individual limb (bitmap) and hit F8 (Convert to Symbol).
Once they are all symbols, you should be able to connect/rig them using the Bone tool or better yet, layer parenting.

you could always retrace the drawing with the paintbrush tool in adobe animate then put all your pieces in symbols. Then animate. I find that when you bring in PSD files or photos into animate it boggles it down and makes it work slower.

convert the bitmap to a vector by selecting it and then clicking modify>bitmap>trace bitmap.
