Sound in Timeline Suddenly Stopped Working

Previously, I've never had issues with sound in Animate. I was working in a file this morning, and the sound in the timeline worked fine when I played it back. Now, for whatever reason, it is no longer working. I've tested multiple files, and it's not working in those files either. (I'm using a MacBook Pro with Monterey version 12.2.) Things I've tried:

• Audio from different apps works fine
• If I open the audio from the library and click "test," it plays
• Uninstalled and reinstalled Animate (twice)
• Restarted and shutdown my computer multiple times

I would greatly appreciate any help, as I'm at a loss for what to do here. Thank you!
