Sound not playing on the timeline, but works in code?

Question

Hi guys, have a simple crunch sound. When I put it on the timeline and play the movie, Nothing. So I made a button and coded the sound to play and it works fine? Same mp3 file.

Do I have to preload the sound somehow to play it on the timeline maybe?

Any help greatly appreciated!

it plays in library. Apperently they won't work unless one clicks on the stagecorrect.  that's a browser restriction.

0.4 seconds is the sound's duration?
