Split PDF files not going to the folder I want them to

I used to be able to Browse the Output folders in the split function and select a very specific Network folder for the split PDF files to save to. One day, I no longer could select that folder. Is there a way to add folders to the Browse window in the Output Options? Could my company's security software or settings prevent me from putting files in a specific folder?
