Stage Offset Problem

Everything was working fine at first. Then all of a sudden, whenever I would try to place something on the stage it wouldn't show up. I checked the timeline and the keyframe showed that there was a change (Black Dot). Next, I checked to see if the layer was visible... it was. Next, I zoomed out and realized that everything that I placed on the stage was being offsetted to the far right off the screen. 

I closed animate and opened it backup again, I resetted the preferences and still no change. 

My issue is that whenever I place something on the stage, it has an offset to the far right. It doesn't go where I place the cursor. 

How do I fix this?

    Do you have a camera in your existing file?

    Is your display scaling set to anything other than 100%?

      Funny enough, I figured out the problem the moment you posted. First of all, I did create a new project and everything was working fine, so I narrowed the problem down to be within the project.

      I have the camera on in the existed file.

      So apparently, when you have the camera on, it shows the wrong onion skin(it shows an offsetted onion skin). I found a workaround to that. All I have to do is turn off the camera and the correct onion skin shows up again. That's problem Number 1. The new problem is, when you have the camera on, it might place your object with an offset. I figured out the problem by turning off the camera again like before and placing something down. Things worked like magic again. 

      Thanks for the help. If I wouldn't have figured it out, I would have taken your advice and turned off the camera. 😉

        I wonder if there is a bug with the camera because this the second problem I've found so far. I wasted 30-45 minutes trying to figure this out LOL.
