old time flash user (10+ years ago) here

so im just having a look, playing with animating my logo for videos etc.

My logo is white text with an outline, so i guess you cant have a solid outline on actual text but....

So if I break it appart to make a shape, I still cant find how to add an outline?

I'd prefer NOT to go back into illustrator and make a different version of my logo

    Hi mate,

If you break apart twice the text will become shapes. Best approach then is to convert that to a Union / Drawing Object.

It's easier to apply stroke to those, but you can to raw vector shapes as well using the Ink Bottle tool.

Since you wouldn't want the stroke to 'eat' your letters, it may be best to have a duplicate layer with the stroke behind the layer with the shapes.
