Is there a way to import WEBP images into animate?

 

For those working with Canvas would be really usefull in order to save Kb and improve final performance.

    Seemingly not still despite widespread support but you can replace the image file and amend the HTML as a tedious workaround hack (requires doing every Publish.) Or use GWD.

    This reply didn't age well. WebP is now widely supported by all browsers, see same link.
