how to use swapDepths in AS3

AS3 does not support swapDepths.  If you want to move something atop others, one way is to use addChild(obj)

NO. I want to change the arrangement of 10 movie clips.

I don't know what you are saying NO to... yes, it will work... it will do what swapDepths does, but there are other ways as well.  You can't change 10 things at the same time, even using swapDepths.  If you have a specific problem you need to solve, it will be better if you explain it in detail and not gradually reveal info.
