SWC decompile?

I have a project that needs some source as files when publishing. However, it appears as though the previous designer created these into swc files? Can I use these? Or is there a way to decompile these so that I can use them? I don't get an error on publish like I should if the files are missing. However, when the button is pressed to use one of the classes it doesn't work... Ideas?
