SWF error and Adobe Animate Software crashing everytime I export :(

So, I am basically trying to complete this very important project of mine,

and for some reason, everytime I try to export this through CTRL+Enter it only goes up to about 70, 80 or 89%, then the software immediately closes.

I look back at the swf exported through Animate within my downloaded files,

but I then happen to notice that I get a white screen everytime I play the SWF,

nothing else plays.

Everytime I try to change a thing or two about this issue lurking on my software

(such as removing a section of the fla, removing a big effect intro it had at the beginning, or even just decreasing the screen ratio 1920x1080 into 1280x720 WHICH also made it worse and had gotten bugs from it), it just keeps exiting out of the software as I try to export it in different ways.

Is there any possible way I can have it export normally?

I swear it was never like this before,

it used to export normally without the software just clicking off so suddenly..

I tried looking for issues similar to mine online,

I saw very few,

and now I am just starting to get the assumption that maybe it's the software itself needing a good reinstall or replacement??

Or just an upgrade in my system resources/RAM??

I also notice this happening last time when I tried animating something with movie-clip symbol effects in it..

I tried using a 1920x1080 screen size for the video,

but when it had done that,

I can recall the SWF file just closing after the next few milliseconds of the start everytime I tried exporting.

I resized the screen-size/ratio into 800x450, used the transform tool to shrink all the contents of the fla to fit into the screen, and it worked when it exported on flashplayer, as well as Swivel.

This project on the other-hand, requires a built-in camera for Adobe Animate,

therefore I can't use Swivel for this one... I also can't just select everything and resize it into the renewed screensize, I want to find other alternatives to fixing this issue, if any exist at all hopefully. 🤞🤞

Other than that, if all else fails I REALLY hope to god my file isn't corrupted whatsoever, I mean it opens just fine, the contents in the fla are safe and are still accessible like any regular FLA,

(but they only gradually get worse and more buggy/ruined if I change the screen size of the fla just for it to export normally, and it lags as it tries to change it too.

I provided a demonstration as the secondary images/additional video example under this paragraph.)

It just refuses to export anything,

as well as closing out completely..

This happened to me, so I returned the Animate to the old version before the update.

i would create a new fla and save it in a new directory.

copy ~1/2 the main timeline layers into the new fla and test publication

if that fails, test the other 1/2 in a different new fla

ie, see if you can copy all the layers into a new fla without triggering a problem or if you can isolate the problem to a single layer.

I kinda did what you did in a way, I wrote it down on a document as I went through layer by layer, and apparently, "Layer 8" seemed to be causing the software to close out, and the SWF to crash, Layer 8 only had gradient shape-tweens in it.

I am a little confused by why that would be the only problem despite the fact there are Movie-Clip symbols (for VFX) overlaying the rest of the other layers, I would assume those effects would have been using up most of the rendering process for the SWF/Software, and generally causing the issue, but no, it was just the shape-tweens.

Is this common? Would this be happening due to RAM issues? Please let me know, if possible.

Document I wrote as I did tests to find the issue;

"Things I've noticed;

- Layer 38 (Shapetween gradient layer) is one of the main causes for the software crashing.

-SHAPE-TWEEN! Effects of the video seem to be the cause for the software crashing

-Layer 9 (Movie-clip gradient overlay effects) don't seem to be the main cause for the software crashing.. Weirdly enough considering how they are defined as effects too.

-Background are questionable, under suspicion... Verdict? -- Not guilty, Layer 5 for example, has no sign of corruption, or faulty bugs causing software misruption

-If I act upon removing Layer 8 from a previous duplicated Flash document of the video project, it will play the Shockwave file normally.
Meaning that Layer 8 is the indefinite culprit behind the software crashing and causing the SWF to not load anything

-Layer 6 seems to have a shapetween radial-gradient fade-in at the very beginning, and since the overall conclusions came to shapetween effects causing your work to go haywire, this may do the same thing. Verdict?? -- Not guilty, it does not crash or cause the software to close automatically.

-Copying and pasting Layer 8 onto a new empty FLA file seems to do the same amount of damage as it did with the actual project in question, with it closing immediately when exporting the Shockwave Movie, therefore, it is GUILTY. Note, that it should be tamed as best as possible.

-Does Layer 8 seem to react well to built-in Camera movement? Verdict -- Well, just not with 1920x1080p and more with canvas size as opposed to FLA properties.

-Good news: Original fla is okay, everything is good, Layer 8 seemed to be the only problem out of the whole thing.
-Bad news: You're gonna have to swap the Built in Animate CC Camera with AS3 Vcam on Flash, (that's if it still looks good without camera movement when you will soon try/test overlaying the video of the shapetween gradients over the video of your video-project in Premiere Pro...), then export it on Swivel to see if itll work.

-RULE OF THUMB: DO NOT GO ABOVE 800x450 or 1280x720 SCREEN SIZE! Otherwise, file will close and SWF will corrupt."

Make sure you keep backups and save versions as you progress with your work. Unusual behaviour can be related to asset corruption.

There is a 16 000 frame limit per timeline in Flash. If you have come close to that, this can be one reason for unpredictable behaviour.

If your stuff is on the main timeline you can try to nest it inside a symbol.

If that does not work, export a PNG sequence and then combine that into a video.

I kinda solved the problem somewhat, apparently it was just "layer 8" causing the software to close each time I exported it, I tested it out on an empty fla to see if Layer 8 was the problem, and just as soon as I did a test export, it closed out.

Layer 8 has shape-tween gradient effects in it, and it seems to be the only cause for the software closing out, but I am curious, is there any way I could also avoid this from happening? Or know why it is to begin with?

Why does these shape tween effects cause the SWF to corrupt, and Animate to close out? Would it be due to my RAM?

Nonetheless, I figured it out for the most part, thank you.

something got corrupted on that layer. usually, remaking that layer's contents will solve the problem. and you may be able to copy and paste most (if not all) of that layer's contents.
