SWF to Mpeg loop conversion help

Hello,

I have what may be and easy question for someone.

When I playback any of my loops as an SWF they work beautifully.

However when I convert them to MPEG2 or MPEG4 for playback the ending loop to beginning  is obvious.

Can anyone recommend a solution?

I am running Flash cs5PRO  ( sometimes AS2 sometimes regular tweens)

And converting them with Moyea  SWF to MPEG Converter standard.

the quality  is good, it's just that the end of the loop is obvious,  not seamless as it  is when its SWF.

any ideas or other software I can buy?

Thanks in advance

Correct answer johndwight

If you make the player to loop the video, when the video finishes, it will stop and then play again. So this problem does exist.

Or you can use the converter mentioned to record the loops of the swf file as video (maybe loop 10 times) .

Thanks

Johndwight!

I hadn't thought of that.  it worked perfectly. I made the original loop (s) for about 35 seconds  but I needed them for  approx 5 minutes each .  So I just converted them as 5minutes worth of loops.  By the time it skips,  it would have been turned off anyway.  Talk about my thinking like a total noob. Luv ya

Thanks again!

try adding a gotoAndPlay(1) or gotoAndPlay(2)

Thanks Kglad

It didnt work. Not sure why because it loops GREAT while still as an SWF,

The loop is only obvious after it is  converted to mpeg2.

Im not using it online, but motion background.  Is this just  the way it is or is there a better converter I can use?

tnx

i don't know but there are inherent problems converting a swf to any other file type.

why can't you use a swf?  or, failing that, if all your animation is on the main timeline and there's no code needed, try an animated gif.
