Symbol missing when swapped

Hi,

I'm having an issue where when I swap a symbol, nothing shows up even though my frames show that there is something. How can I fix this?

Let suppose you want to swap an instance of symbol A with symbol B.

If the "first frame" of the instance on the stage (A) is set to a number that exceeds the number of frames in symbol B, you will end up with an "empty" instance on the stage.
