symbols keep turning the other way when trying to modify

I am trying to animate some symbols in a motion tween, but when I for example move a symbol clockwise 90 degrees and play it back in the video the symbol moved CCW far enough to get into the same position. I am working on mac and using animate cc 2019

any help would be much appreciated
