SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list

Hello, for a while now I have been getting these popups a good 3 times everytime I start up adobe animate. I didn't really think much of it until it was interfering with publishing the animation as a video, which I cannot do anymore. I've looked at other fixes and some say to fix it via the coding but I have no idea what to do or where to go for it. If anybody can help me solve this error that would be greatly appreciated!

does this occur before you start a html5 project?

does it occur with only 1 particular html5 project?

if you can start a html5 project before the error, start one, save the fla to a desktop directory and test (the empty) project. any problem?

It occurs before I start an html 5 project. No error pops up when making a project although i'm wondering if thats because I use actionscript type instead of html5 canvas. But, it shows the error on startup before a project regardless. I also started a HTML5 Canvas project to see that aswell, there is no error for the projects. Just startup and when publishing.

reset your preferences by removing

Win:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC <version>\ and

C\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\<version>\

Mac:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/<Animate CC version>/ and

/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Animate/<version>/
