Test Movie is not cropped properly

The animation has stuff outside the boundaries of the stage, so I have the "clip content outside of stage" toggled on. When I go to Control>Test, a new window appears, but the window size doesn't match the exact size of the original stage, as I can see the "extra drawings" outside of stage; it's off by about an inch or so. Adjusting the window size manually is not reliable in being able to watch what the final product of the movie will look like. Changing it to full screen doesn't solve it, as I can still see drawings outside of original stage.

Is there a way to test the movie with accurate stage size?

Thank you

This answer is has broken, outdated links. So how do you easily make Test Movie fit the same aspect ratio as the source animation? Test movie displays it in an elongated rectangular area, even though the stage is square.
