The Adobe Animate program closes itself when I open the action palette. Whether I open an older file or create a new file. I'm using the latest version, but I've already reverted to an older version, but it did the same thing. What could be the problem?

Yes, it opens all other panels. However, when I change workspace, it also closes. There is 16 GB of ram in the computer, but there was no such problem before. This error started a few days ago. There were no problems with the program until then.

try suspending antivirus, anitmalware etc that could be intercepting animate activity.

SentinelOne antivirus causes Animate to quit. If it is turned off, it works fine. Thank you all for your help!

p.s. you can probably set your av to ignore animate so you can continue to use it and animate at the same time.

Yes, I think it will be, but everything is set up centrally at our company, we do not have the right to do so.

you may have a corrupt preference file. to remedy,

assign some custom preference (eg, keyboard shortcut)

uninstall animate including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then reinstall and confirm your custom preference was reset, and if so, check your actions panel.

I uninstalled animate including preferences, but it still closes the program, if i press F9.

what if you click window>actions?
