The eyedropper tool is broken.

What exactly is broken. I used to be able to take color from anywhere in the document. For example, I could choose the desired color from a gradient on a closed layer. Or choose a color from the "Symbol". Now this function sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't. When working in a project for a long time, the color stops being selected. Clicking the eyedropper tool in the right place, it selects the white color. The ability to choose a color remains only with a divided object.
