Question

this.stop() isnt working

Im doing the rocket launch tutorial and the “this.rocket.stop();” isnt working when it tells me to put that in the actions panel for the first frame on the rocket, I made sure the syntax is valid and I also tried just doing “this.stop();” but its not working. I also made sure the rockets instance name is “rocket”

    Hi.

    If you add the code to the main timeline, you need to write:

    this.rocket.stop();

    If you add the code to the rocket’s symbol timeline (double-clicking), you need to write:

    this.stop();

    Hiope it helps.

    Regards,
    JC

    ask your school’s admin how they suggest you debug html 5 apps without using the developer console.
