Thoughts of the Future of Animate

I've been using Flash for about 10 years (back in the day), and recently came across the need for creating web-based interactive animations again. I downloaded Animate, and wow - the nostalgia is strong! 🙂

On the plus side, I already am familiar with the workflow, but in the back of my mind I'm wondering if Adobe would discontinue this any day now. Is there a better alternative at this point?

I have heard of Playcanvas, and know that Unity can do some great stuff in 2D, but I am a little challenged with code so am looking for something which requires very minimal code for interactivity.

Thanks in advance!

@JoãoCésar17023019already mentioned Construct 3, which requires taking out a subscription/rent.

A free good alternative to Construct is GDevelop 5 https://gdevelop.io/

    No coding required either.

    Hi.

The HTML5 canvas is very powerful and we hope Adobe will continue supporting it and Animate.

Buf if you want an alternative, I think Contruct 3 is an excellent "no code" choice.
