Transform bug

I'm using Animate for a project at the moment, haven't used it for a while. Updated to latest version and it feels like everytime I move something or skew something with the free transform tool Animate bugs out on me. Weird things happen such as windows ding sound effects happen when I hold shift, shortcuts just open menus in the top bar etc.

The only thing that seems to reset it is saving the file...

Any ideas? Anyone had similar problems?
