Transparent workspace background

Hello! Would anyone know how to view the transparency grid while working inside Adobe Animate? the background is white by default, but I want to be able to see the transparency grid instead.

    you can remove the stage color but that will reveal the color of your back stage.  if you're using the lightest animate ui theme, that will be white.  you can select a different ui theme and you can select a different stage color/alpha. 

     

    if you really want to look at a transparency grid take a screenshot of one and put it in your bottom-most layer.
