trouble when downloading adobe animate from creative cloud.

My creative cloud window above:

My overall goal is to download the app adobe animate. It is already paided for and I had already hit install for the app. But I hit cancel download as my computer had to many things running and I just wanted to start the download again (it was only at 10% downloaded, and it had just worked so I wasn't worried). The screen has then just looked like this for about 4-5 hours now. I have tried quitting out of creative cloud entirely but nothing changes whatsoever, and always looks the same. (I am on a Macbook Air with the Sonoma 14.4 macOS). 

Thank you for any help or adivice you can give!

reset the cc app. if that fails, restart your computer.
