Turning user edited content into video and sharing it on Facebook

Hi,

I'm trying to build a mobile AIR app that allows the user to take a photo of themselves and then see that photo animate. Then the user can share the animation on Facebook. So I believe the best format for Facebook would be a video (supported format). Does anyone have any tips? Is this possible?
