Tween Arrows

Hi there. Pretty much every time there's an update to Animate I hold my breath and say to my self "What have they messed with this time?". This time, I must say I am generally pretty impressed with the visual changes and added features. So, you know...well done on that! Especially please to see we can now export out to different formats again, instead of just .MOV!!

 

HOWEVER... the new, fattened up arrows on the timeline tweens is possibly the single biggest mistep I have ever seen. As an animator, you are spending 70-80% of your time looking at that timeline. And now, even at a super enlarged size, the arrows look like keyframes! So bad for productivity as you waste time squinting at the screen to check wether or not you're looking at a key. Utterly ridiculous! PLEASE change this back to a narrow line arrow as with all previous versions on your very next update.

 

Other than that, keep up the good work.

    Yeah, hopefully they will iron out the rough edges, but everyone will have to wait for another 12 months at least.

     

    There are many good things about the interface revamp - more flexibility, easier access to more features, better lightbox.

     

    Lots of problems too - size of panels, inflated padding, a lot of wasted space, poor placement of many buttons, the arrows, the magnet, the rounded corners, and so on...
