Unable to export video from Adobe Animate

I'm receiving an error message when I'm trying to export as MPEG4/Quicktime/H.264 etc.
I've previously exported successfully with another project, however, this time around, I'm getting the attached error msg... Wondering if Animate is glitching...

For some context, I'm working with straightforward timeline animation. I've tried to export using video footage (loaded externally) and also tried with no video footage. Still getting the same error.

While we're here - the animation I'm creating, does require video footage, what are your recommendations to include this and successfully export? I know H.264 cannot be exported.

Cheers!

and you should composite your animate and other video in after effects or premiere pro.

Thank you @kglad! And honestly, the reason for using Animate to begin with is that I used to use Flash quite heavily back when it was popular. After Effects would be the better app to use going forward for this type of animation.

it's not unusual to use both animate and then after effects or premiere.  (and you're welcome.)

(and make sure you opened ame before exporting from animate as suggested by @Nick Gioia before you start to look for a problem on your computer.)

Make sure Adobe encoder is open then when you export make sure the little box is checked to export to Adobe encoder that should take care of the problem.

Thanks for your response @Nick Gioia - I'll try that and see what happens.

Update since I posted the original query. I sent the Animate file to my colleague to test the exports, both with and without video and they were both successfully exported... I have a feeling that the issue is specific to my laptop.
